Pamela is a lifelong student. Her formal training has been earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA with a focus on International Studies from Oklahoma State University. However, she still takes time for classes that aren't part of a degreed program because she wants to learn as much as she can.

The Shades of Gray Serials are self-published by the company Fading Into Reality, LLC. This company was formed in 2008 to showcase the writings of Pamela E. Bailey. In addition to novels, Pamela plans to publish books for children and young adults.
